Anthony and Alvin strived to change the Cantonese Roast meat scene in Singapore. The brothers drew upon Alvin’s 30 years of cooking in Chinese restaurants in Birmingham, mixing Asian with various Western techniques to offer a totally unique taste to the traditional Char Siew, Roast Pork Belly and Roast Duck.

Using a combination of modern cooking science with traditional roasting, Char's signature dish is melt-in-your-mouth tender and the sauce that covers this sublime piece of meat is the perfect blend of salty, sweet and is ever so sticky. Comes together with one chilli garlic sauce.

Signature Char Siew | 招牌叉烧 (300g)

The crackling that comes from the roast pork belly is the main character of a good roast. The meat has been marinated in a blend of Chinese (and not so Chinese) herbs and spices and roasted on a high heat. Comes together with one mustard sauce.

Crispy Roast Pork Belly | 脆皮烧肉 (300g)

Signature Char Siew & Crispy Roast Pork. Comes with one chilli garlic and one mustard sauce.

Double Roast | 双拼 (400g)

Char's locally sourced duck uses traditional Cantonese roasting technique, but taking it to a completely new level with the infusion of Jasmine tea, not only tenderises the meat but also imparts a subtle flavour to the meat. The skin is amazingly crispy too. Comes with one chilli oil.

A Cantonese specialty, the free-range chicken is marinated in a blend of soya sauce and Chinese spices and poached gently for hours to create a flavourful and tender dish

A collaboration with En Sauces, Char's special blend of chillis and garlic (Really spicy and shiok!) has been improved and repackaged. Goes well with the Char Siew and Roast Pork.

Special Chilli Garlic | 自制蒜蓉辣椒 (15ml)

A collaboration with En Sauces, we have tweaked the secret recipe of Char's Chilli Oil that comprises of dried chillis, dried shrimps and loads more of goodies. Not as spicy as the chilli garlic, its fragrance and wok-hei pairs well with the Jasmine Roast Duck.

Chilli Oil | 辣椒油 (15ml)

Blended in-house, the mustard sauce helps to enhance the flavour of the Roast Pork, adding an extra kick with each bite.
